- Responsible for managing the official document system and handling daily official documents

- Responsible for preparing documents for departmental meetings, assisting in meeting proceedings, and taking meeting minutes

- Responsible for handling faculty teaching evaluations
- Responsible for conducting departmental evaluations
- Responsible for department chair selection processes
- Compiling administrative and university council meeting reports

- Reporting on the university's historical records
- Compiling submissions for Soochow University E-news, Soochow Alumni Magazine, and College of Foreign Languages and Cultures Newsletter

- Responsible for handling English Department faculty (including distinguished professors) and teaching assistants' appointment procedures
- Managing administrative matters such as faculty promotions, leaves of absence, and Ministry of Education certificate applications for the English Department

- Assisting with various lectures and teacher teaching workshops.

- Supervising work-study students in the department office
- Managing and maintaining the department's public spaces (R815, 902, 905, etc.)

- Coordinating the "English Week" (ICEE)
- Overseeing student activities, including student association guidance and management, school celebrations, freshman orientation camps, freshman welcome events, etc.

- Handling administrative work and promotion for Ministry of Science and Technology's undergraduate research projects
- Managing overseas summer credit programs
- Handling industry-academia cooperation programs (internships, employment, academic information announcements, and job recruitment assistance)
- Coordinating and distributing course evaluation surveys for the entire department
- Organizing summer courses (makeup or remedial classes)
- Handling the memorial fund of Mr. Hu Bi-Jiang, the donations of the Soochow University Friends Foundation, scholarships for academic assistance, and overseas scholar grants, as well as the Ni-style Academic Scholarships and Grants
- Managing student scholarships and financial aid
- Handling parking services for full-time and part-time teachers
- Assisting with the distribution of mentors and students
- Handling work permits for foreign teachers
- Continuing Education Department: student course selection and related tasks (credit transfer for transfer students)
- Managing course selection and related matters for the Continuing Education Department
- Responsible for applying to the "KIPP Dream Builders Program" (Texas Education Internship) (co-managed with Assistant Chen Meiyu)
- Coordinating surveys such as "First-Year Student Mental and Physical Adaptation Survey," "UCAN Questionnaire Survey," "Graduating Student Learning Outcomes Questionnaire," and "Satisfaction Survey for Graduates One, Three, and Five Years After Graduation"

- Outstanding Graduating Student Excellence Award and Foreign Language Elite Selection
- Responsible for department admission presentations
- Extension Division admission brochures
- Handling mid-term academic warnings
- Managing undergraduate course selection criteria and course affairs
- Application and data compilation for faculty academic research grants
- Teacher education program admissions and related affairs
- Assist the department's Education Program Committee and enrolled students
- Responsible for the application of the KIPP Dream Building Project (KIPP Texas Education Internship) (this task is co-managed with Assistant Liao Hui-ju)
- Prepare documents for department curriculum meetings, assist in conducting meetings, and serve as meeting recorder
