Curriculum Design:
Our Graduate Program emphasizes both interpretation and translation, encouraging students to develop comprehensive language skills. Through an array of practical case studies, simulated interpretation scenarios, and translation training, we aim to equip students with solid interpretation and translation competencies.
We are also committed to integrating the latest translation technologies into our curriculum. By fostering students' abilities in applying machine translation and other cutting-edge technologies, we prepare them to succeed in the modern translation industry. Our courses include training in various mainstream translation software.
Collaboration with industry and internships are key components of our program, providing students with valuable practical experience. Through internships at translation companies, participation in international exhibitions, and other real-world opportunities, students gain hands-on experience in a professional translation environment before graduation.
Additionally, we regularly invite renowned interpretation and translation experts from both Taiwan and abroad to give lectures, offering students diverse learning opportunities beyond our comprehensive faculty and curriculum. These events also help students build connections within the academic and professional fields of interpretation and translation.
Furthermore, our program has established dual-degree agreements with several prestigious international institutions (click here for more details). Senior students may apply to study abroad and obtain dual degrees. Upon returning to Taiwan and successfully applying for the degree examination, two top-performing students each year will be awarded a scholarship of NT$40,000.

(click to see the course list) - The curriculum encompasses four key areas of practical training: interpretation, translation, translation technology and applications, and advanced foreign language communication.
- For students aiming to pursue careers in interpretation, the program offers intensive and diverse training to equip them with professional interpretation skills.
- Through critical analysis, translation, and language training, students are prepared to face the challenges of bilingual environments they may encounter in their professional fields.
- The program also focuses on developing translation technology skills, including the use of machine translation editors and computer-assisted translation tools, helping students leverage translation technologies to improve efficiency and align with the demands of the new technological era.
- In response to the growing demand for interpretation and translation services in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry, the program strengthens students’ proficiency in the necessary skills for this field while also cultivating bilingual presentation and hosting abilities.
