學系主任: 蘇秋華副教授
我嘗試結合學術工作與個人志趣，因此選擇研究十九世紀美國文學、現象學、後人類研究以及生態批評。已發表的著作包括：〈回返光的世界：論梅爾維爾與梅洛龐蒂之觸覺主體〉以及〈從日常生活到可程式性：以十九世紀魔術舞台探討斯蒂格勒理論之後人類潛能〉。在教學上，我希望學生不僅對文學有基本的認識，也期許他們能夠培養對閱讀、思考和寫作的終身興趣。Literature helps us cultivate in-depth perception of the world, so that we are prepared to accept ourselves as we are.
